Arizona State can take command by establishing Brown and using defined throws to Miller and Harris, reducing the burden on a new line and whichever quarterback wins the job. Defensively, C.J. Fite provides an interior anchor, while Owen Long, Martell Hughes and Zyrus Fiaseu form the experienced core of the second level; steady early-down play from that group would keep Morgan State from dictating pace. Morgan State’s route to control is to deny easy early completions, challenge Arizona State’s rebuilt line repeatedly and make the Sun Devils string together long, mistake-free possessions. The longer the quarterback and line questions remain live, the more leverage the visitors can create.
