Privacy & measurement
We collect only what is needed to run accounts, deliver the newsletter and Season Guide, operate Pick’em and Premium, and understand which promotions work.
Free accounts and Beehiiv
When you create and confirm a free account, the email you verify is used for sign-in and subscribed to the Saturday Index newsletter through Beehiiv. Beehiiv sends the welcome email with the Season Guide link and manages unsubscribe preferences. Your email is never displayed on Pick’em leaderboards.
Pick’em and Premium
We retain your public display name, contest picks, scores, and subscription status to operate the products. Payment details are handled by the approved payment provider and are not stored by Saturday Index.
Advertising measurement
With your permission, the site loads the X Pixel and sends privacy-limited completed conversion events for account creation, a first submitted Pick’em card, and a confirmed Premium purchase. We do not send your email, password, picks, or payment details to the pixel. First-touch campaign parameters and an X click identifier may be retained for up to 30 days.
