Saturday Index Pick’em

How Pick’em works

2026 official rules

These rules govern the free Saturday Index weekly college-football Pick’em.

Free to enter. One weekly card per account, unlimited entrants, and no purchase necessary.
01

The weekly slate

Saturday Index selects the games on each card. The AP Top 25 is the default weekly reference until the College Football Playoff ranking becomes available, but the final slate is Founder-curated.

Each game is published with one recorded point spread. That contest line is frozen for every entrant and does not move after the card opens.

02

Making an entry

Entry is free and no purchase is required. A player must use one verified Saturday Index account, choose one team against the spread in each available game, and submit one final-game combined-points tiebreaker. Each account may submit one card per weekly contest; the field has no entrant cap.

Every selection locks separately at its listed kickoff. Picks on later games may still be added or updated after earlier games begin, while a locked pick can never be changed or removed. The corrected 2026 Week 1 card contains seven games; Week 0 games are not part of the card.

03

Scoring and ties

A correct ATS pick earns 1 point. A push earns 0.5 points. A loss or void earns 0 points. Canceled games are void and do not create an advantage for either side.

Weekly ties are ordered by absolute distance from the actual combined score in the designated tiebreaker game, then by the earliest final complete-card submission. Monthly and season ties are ordered by the earliest complete-card submission in the applicable period. Any remaining tie uses the stable account order recorded in the audit ledger.

04

Leaderboards and access

The weekly board counts one card. Monthly and season boards add points from each eligible graded card in the applicable period. The 2026 Week 1 card counts toward the September monthly leaderboard because it opens the September football schedule.

The prize structure is one month of Premium for a weekly winner, one year for a monthly winner, and lifetime access for the season winner. Premium access prizes are noncash, have no cash alternative, are attached to the winner’s account, and are not transferable.

05

Integrity and eligibility

One person may use one account. Automated entries, duplicate accounts, manipulation, or attempts to interfere with scoring can result in disqualification. Saturday Index may correct a verified grading error while preserving the audit history and may temporarily pause new or updated cards to protect contest integrity.

Entrants must be at least 18 years old and eligible to participate where they reside. The contest is void where prohibited. Saturday Index may disqualify an ineligible entrant and award access to the next eligible finisher.

Effective: August 18, 2026

Questions may be sent through the Saturday Index contact channel. The immutable contest and grading ledger remains the source of truth.
