Air Force has returning names capable of shaping that battle. Liam Szarka, still listed on the 2026 roster, produced 1,294 passing yards, nine passing touchdowns, 922 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns in 2025. Owen Allen, also on the roster, added 749 rushing yards and five scores. For Duquesne, limiting efficient rushing plays and keeping the Falcons in longer situations would create more chances to get off the field. The Dukes also must account for Isaac Hubert, who recorded five sacks and 11 tackles for loss last season.

When Duquesne has possession, a clean start up front could help the offense establish a workable rhythm against an Air Force defense featuring Hubert. The official Duquesne roster lists Carson Camp, Nate Harper, Logan Kushner and Riley Martinez in the quarterback room, so the quarterback picture is a central pregame item rather than a conclusion drawn from roster order. Duquesne’s best path is to avoid self-inflicted setbacks, compete on early downs and make each possession matter. Air Force’s best path is to build drives through its established returning production and let the game’s pace work in its favor.
